If Ireland does leave, how about Mayock for DPP?

It appears that Gruden was the brainchild behind their recent 1st round disasters and Mayock was the guy guiding the back end of the draft. The Raiders drafted REALLY well outside of the 1st round under his tenure. I can't speak for anything else regarding his GM skills, which is why Loomis would handle the business end and Mayock could just be our Director of Player Personnel.

No!

Antonio Brown
Henry Ruggs
Damon Arnette
Alex Leatherwood

You cannot miss that bad on your top picks. And his handling of Antonio Brown situation was just horrible

They were great at drafting in the 4th and 5th round but not great everywhere else, imo.

Crosby and Renfrow are legit. I still have no clue how Renfrow fell to the 5th round. Seemed like a perfect slot WR in any system.

Did you read OP?

Lots of smoke out of LV those were Gruden's picks and as the draft went on he lost interest and Mayock took over.

I dont want him but how was that his fault?

The NFL banned his helmet, AB threw a fit and refused to practice without it, Mayock said show up or get fined, AB threatened to fight him lol

I like this idea but I don’t think Ireland leaves. I think the Saints promote him to GM

I'd be open to it assuming we don't have someone in-house that is a Ireland protege
