I’d take a little risk and trade back into the 3rd for Matt Corral.

It would be a minimal risk with the compensation to move back into the 3rd but he could be a damn good starting QB. Or he could be a complete bust. No in-between. Why not?

You would probably have to trade next year’s second to get him or next years third and an additional pick. Don’t think he is worth that

Some guys just have that dog in them that makes them winners. Corral is like that. He plays his arse off every second. Worst case you have a good backup QB.

No need to trade extra capital in next years draft when we are already short…. There will be late round flyer qbs next year and who knows howel or corral or strong could be there when we pick in the fifth

To put on the practice squad? He’s not better than Winston. He’s not better than Dalton. He’s a one read RPO small QB. We don’t need a QB. Other teams need a QB….and they are all passing on him.

Why is everyone obsessed with QBs? Is it because they just watch ESPN talk about them and can’t think for themselves? I don’t get it.

Better to trade back for some other position. He will be no better than Andy Dalton.

There is a reason he's dropping.

Signing Dalton signaled to me that we are not taking a QB in this draft.

Mostly because an elite QB means you win. Everyone is always looking for an elite QB. You don’t have to have one to win, but it makes things a hell of a lot easier.

Not saying that any of the QBs in this draft are elite

Next year's 2nd and something else to get back in the 3rd round for a project? I'll pass. Now if they still had a 3rd rounder. You could burn the pick on him.

He’ll beat out Darnold at some point next season.

Great value for Carolina.

The odds tell us Corrall won’t be anything near elite at the next level

Come on folks, the front offices have told us for months they think this qb class is rotten. It’s a QB starved league and they’ve largely said no thank you to this class.

One of these guys could be the outlier and be an all pro…but statistically it’s very unlikely

small QB

He's 6'1 1/2", 210lbs, and hands measure 9 6/8". He's definitely not small unless you consider everyone smaller than Big Ben to be small
