He looked poised.

He can really run.

Took some chances, threw a pick or two, but thats what preseason is for.

Might be a decent future QB1.

He sucked last night.

Last week he had a good game tho - they probably are propping him up bc he's the defacto backup to Herbert and they want him to be good.

He was bad other than when the Saints went into Allen’s “prevent defense.”

Will always be a backup in the NFL, at best.

He picked up 1sts with his legs a few times, that was about it that was good. His biggest completion was a punt that would've been picked if the DBs didn't run from the ball.

It was the Chargers local broadcast team. They were pumping up the entire team.

Easton Stick was a very good QB at D2 North Dakota State. He can be a decent backup in this league. But if he were on the Saints roster, he'd be 4th string. We have a very good QB room.

Consider what you just typed for a moment

He can't run like that in a real NFL game, he'd get killed. Nobody on the coaching staffs care what the score was. They're watching players.

Saints first half- Allen doesn't care if Winston was slow; they're looking at AT Perry's routes, if he gets open, if he catches when the ball comes his way. They're looking at Kendra Miller run the ball a few times, then slip out in the flat or run a wheel route. That catch earned him a lot of notice.

Saints looking at Smoke Monday stopping WR instantly a few times, sure tackle, doing what he should be doing. Not elite stuff, but looks like you could toss him in and not be a disaster.

With Haener, you like the way he bought time on the big throw, but you like more the pass to the TE, that Moreau would have scored on. Or the fade that Thomas or Olave would have scored on. Those are things you can work with, that show you can build on this kid some.
