That’s not really true. He and his family were at a Pelicans game with Gayle after he signed.
He’s just not a public guy. And if he was out and about, people would complain he was not rehabbing and that’s why he’s always injured.

It’s not some all star weekend. His shitty team isn’t playing. Why would he be appearing at a bunch of events thrown by douche bags like Michael Rubin? Jameis is amusing but he’s not a serious quarterback at this point. I wouldn’t expect Carr, or any competitive quarterback, to revel in a bunch of corporate celebrations for two other teams.

My timeline could be a little off.
I know he signed in March 2023 (after Super Bowl and Mardi Gras), but I could have sworn there was an agreement or something before then because I remember looking up if he stayed around for Mardi Gras.
