I Seriously Hate Everything About This Saints Era

We went on a mini-two game win streak when I decided I didn't give a shite anymore and stopped watching. Then as soon as I get reeled back in, we lose to the sorry arse Vikings and downtrodden Falcons. I guess I need to dial it in for the rest of Allen and Loomis' tenure. Its such a mediocre brand of leadership and football on display. Saints fans deserve and have seen much better.

The 4th quarter in green bay when we were 15 minutes from going 3-0 with a 17-0 lead was some great foreshadowing of how gay this season would be

Well, we have a coaching staff that thinks they are a tweak away from contending, a QB that blames everyone but himself for his mistakes, the worst offensive play caller in the NFL, and a Defense that can't get pressure nor contain any QB that takes off. Throw in a silent old lady owner and a GM with no accountability, you get the 2023 Saints.

People were trying to hype this team up after we beat the Titans and Panthers by a combined 4 points to start the year

Then you hate everything about a great majority of the Saints' history, because, they are usually much worse than this.
2 to 4 win seasons were the norm for much of the Saints history.

Yes we have seen better but we've seen worse. It's about to get alot worse long before it gets better. If you think it's bad now, my advice is pick another team. You're in for a long bumpy ride.

It’s a black hole abyss for sure.
We need a COMPLETE overhaul from top to bottom - from front office to roster.
No one should be safe.

You're in for a long bumpy ride.
If we keep pushing cap to future years, keep trading away draft picks, keep treating this roster like we are competing for something meaningful...
This division is atrocious...win 9 games and you could have probably rested starters week 17 because that might have been enough to clinch it
This roster needs to start to rebuild. If Loomis and co. Make this already potential and optimistic 5 year rebuild into a decade long endeavor chasing a final quick one and done playoff appearance where we get exposed opening round...
That's just asinine. Allen deserves one more year. He deserves to go to the podium after every game next year when the schedule gets harder and he has nothing to try to hang his hat on as his roster gets boat raced. He doesn't deserve any more future cap for contracts and we need to start cleaning the books. New Orleans isn't going to be anyone's 1st choice for an opening next off season but we can't enter the HC market being the obvious worst destination/situation to take over

It absolutely can. Cleveland, Jacksonville, Houston, and Detroit had how many HCs go through there with minimal success?
There will be someone that wants to be a HC just for the pay or at the minimum the experience. Winning means nothing when you are guaranteed money.
Changes will happen that will get you excited, but the results will be the same.
