I like the Carr signing. Saints move into division lead and playoffs with it.

Are we a Super Bowl team with this signing? Probably not. But, Carr is a good QB and while Andy Dalton's numbers weren't terrible, he also just couldn't move the team in key situations. We still have enough talent to be a playoff team and that's a good thing. While we might not be the best team in the NFL from this signing, only one team can be that each year and we've only been that once in my lifetime (really probably 3 times in '09, '11, '18). But, I've really enjoyed the Saints in other years with playoff-caliber football and runs into the postseason, even if I didn't think we had the best team in the NFL.

At any rate, put me down for thinking the Carr signing is a good thing and makes us better than we were last year. That's a positive and I'll take it. He'll be the best QB we've had on the roster since Drew Brees and I'm glad we have him.

Wasn’t aware I was supposed to be excited about Jim Everett 2.0.

You can feel however you like. I'm saying that I like the signing and listed the reasons why. It's my opinion. Clearly, others disagree.

Tank for who? Not seeing the Caleb Williams comparisons to Mahomes.

After thinking about it I agree 100%. I wasn’t originally very excited but I think he is a great guy and good person so I like that for the team and locker room because he is the new leader.
Hopefully the best is yet to come and I’ll stay optimistic.

Caleb Williams plays like Young Mahomes and acts like Jackson Mahomes

So he’s a talented, but very interesting prospect.

I like Bryce better from this class tbh, bc he’s an adult.
