how many years are you willing to give him to "figure it out", and also, are you willing to pass on upcoming QB next year's draft if he has a decent, not great year?

Draft picks are so unpredictable that I don’t know how someone can have firm opinions bout any draft choice until he has played a decent number of games…

what you just described is a player that is worth taking a chance on in the 2nd. Even if he turns into a spot starter/backup that’s not a bad pick.

he's worth taking a chance on if he's younger... but the dude will basically be a 26 year old rookie, for a majority of this season... his window to become a starting caliber QB is very, very short... we don't have time to wait around, nor can we pass on upcoming prospects in the next few year's drafts, waiting to see if this guy gets it or not...

You just sound dumb and making shite up. For one I’d give him a year to see what he does. I’d there’s a qb worth taking next year that you think is a franchise guy you do it. I said i thought he was decisive, accurate, athletic etc. nowhere did i say he was doing pre snap reads or even having to do that. I saw a guy who made the right reads of the defense, threw to the open man, was quick and got the ball out. What the frick are y’all looking for in this scenario?

So this isn't your post?

I hated the Shough pick but if you watched him today and only saw career backup then you i don’t think you know a thing about football.

You just described Daniel Jones first preseason start with the Giants.

To be fair I’ve also not really seen people go out of their way to bash a late round pick at qb like they do with rattler.

Very polarizing individual.

I mean it’s kind of our only option though either way…

Definitely not saying he will be a good starter, but he has more upside than Rattler

What does this even mean?

We both know this team won't do much this season which means drafting high again next draft. If a QB gets taken with that pick, Shough may only see the field again with the Saints during preseason games.

I know reading comprehension is hard but what j said is if you didn’t see talent of a starting qb in this league then you don’t know football. Will he be? No idea. If he continues to grow from what we saw tonight yeah he def should be. I’m not sure what your stance even is other than if you played good in preseason then it means nothing or if you played bad then you’re def gonna suck. Makes total sense

Oh yeah we’re going to suck. I don’t think either of them are going to be great. But we really don’t have a choice but to see what we have this year.

If Shough looks like Justin Herbert with a shitty team then maybe it gets hairy with top pick and a guy who “could” be the guy.

I just hope we get a really definitive answer either way. Either the guy balls out within the limitations of his team and is worth building around or we take a more talented guy with likely better pick.

You just typed a bunch of nonsense after I posted a video of Daniel Jones first ever preseason start with Giants. Did you even bother to watch the video? I doubt it? Is Daniel Jones a quality NFL QB?

No. Cause i don’t give a shite and somehow you’re now talking about Daniel jones when all i said was he looked to have potential other than a backup

That's because you know Daniel Jones looked solid in his first ever preseason start with the Giants & 5 years later we all know he complete arse. That's why you don't give a shite.
