Looks like the Chargers are dropping out. Any chance the Texans and CSP have any mutual attraction?

Cardinals seem to be still in play for now.

Gotta try to find a positive somewhere in all this crap.

If Denver hadn't given up the farm for the shell of Russell Wilson, Payton would already be shopping for houses in Denver.

Why wouldn’t the chargers still be interested?

Because they’re not going to fire a coach after making the playoffs

They’ve done a pretty good job despite having a large number of important players injured.

They aren't in the playoffs at the moment and I doubt they make it.

Marty Schottenheimer was among the Charges best coaches ever but was fired after going 14-2 and a playoff berth.

Staley has done nothing but hover around .500 with what should be a pretty good team. If you have the chance to acquire a top 5 HC of the last 20 years, you did it in a heartbeat if you’re that franchise.

Denver is a simmering shitshow rn. How about CSP, & T-Hill for Willson and whatever the broncos have left of draft picks for 23 & 24.

Hell throw in MT broken too. lol.

Saints fire Allen at the end of the season. Then trade CSP to the Chargers for Staley and picks.

Russell Wilson has maybe the worst contract in the entire league. He is washed up and owed a ton of money for the next 4-5 years. The Broncos are screwed.

Staley has been a massive disappointment. He’s been a butt of the joke guy around the NFL. Even if they sneak into playoffs they could move on from him.

Also, if the Chargers get word Payton wants to come coach Herbert, they will kick Staley’s arse out the door with the quickness. Looking like Arizona or Chargers at this point.

The funny thing is the franchises he is linked to, the Cardinals and the Chargers, are perennial losers with stingy owners.
