Wouldn’t hate it but don’t think I would want to give up more than like a 2nd rounder

Are you saying Tua and Hill are the same type of QB? Bc they’re not even close.

Tua does not look like an nfl QB. Brees looks like he is 40lbs bigger and I almost think 2020 brees has a stronger arm. I would take Mac Jones way before but who knows how good he is without the best oline by a mile. Jones played in a green jersey all season basically

I have a feeling Tua is still a year away from fully recovering from that hip injury.

However if there is permanent damage his throwing power may never return.

Funny since most experts compared Tua to Brees before the draft.

They were even both benched for journeyman qbs early in their careers. (Doug Flutie, in case anyone forgot)

Tua would be included in a Watson trade.

It is amazing the convenience store psychology has made it way to NFL QB's. New NFL used to get a few years to learn an NFL system and game speed but now it seems you get about 6 games to be all pro or your a bust.

Drew Brees was considered a bust by his first NFL team. Steve Young was a bust, Brett Farve was a bust. Warren Moon wasn't even drafted or signed by an NFL team until after playing in the CFL. There are more QB's that have played in the Super Bowl with their 2nd or 3rd team than their 1st NFL team.

If I were the Texans I would take that deal. Get Miami to throw in another player and draft and RUN.

Watson is not going to be it for the Texans because they spoiled his mind by making him a hometown hero for just being their QB. He was never made to earn it by continuing to elevate.

What have we become when we decide if a QB has promise or not solely based on their rookie season? Fans are spoiled.
