How would you feel if the Saints drafted J. Taylor (RB - Wisc) in 1st

If they addressed G and LB in free agency and picked up a good WR in the 3rd?

Taylor + Kamara could be a better 2 headed monster than Ingram + Kamara. Kamara playing for big contract, Taylor can do heavy lifting + 4.39 40 at the combine, and can catch the ball. When Kamara leaves for big money we still have a top notch back.

Yeah I know. But we are going to overpay for Kamara next year or have slim pickings.

No holes in lineup it would be a great pic if his receiving skills are good.

I'd be pissed that CSP spent a 1st on a player he's gonna restrict to 3-4 touches per game.

And you sure as hell won't need to blow a 1st for him.

Guys like you complain about LSU/draft posts. You complain about trade posts. You complain and downvote every kind of post. There is nothing wrong with my post dude.

J Taylor is going to go for 1000-1400 yds for the next 5 to 8 years. He has good size, great speed (4.39), can catch. He is one of the best RBs, certainly statistically, to ever play college football. He and Kamara in the backfield would be a nightmare for opposing teams, and take a lot of pressure off of Brees. Say what you want, and downvote away, but if the Saints take care of G/LB in free agency, and pickup a good WR in the 3rd, this would be a great pickup.

I'd rather grab a WR in the 1st and Clyde in the 2nd, but we don't have a 2nd. Clyde isn't going to be there in the 3rd.

Wouldn’t take him in the 3rd. He had 300 carries in all 3 years. You don’t want that kind of tread on arb prospect coming out. They will have a shorter career bc they have already been overused. Hb already have a short shelf life

no he isn't his legs are going to wear down quickly, hes not very agile.. he'd be on the third team. He's not getting picked by the saints get that out of your head.

I think the downvote ratio tells the tale on this one. J Taylor is a solid running back but the Saints have higher priority needs than RB.

The Kamara decision is coming next year, and I don't think Loomis is going to give Kamara the paycheck he is looking for. We will have a need for a quality back next year. G/LB/WR are all bigger needs right now. But if they are addressed why not Taylor (or Clyde)? Our offense was significantly better with the Ingram/Kamara tandem. Just saying.
