We definitely need more 13 reception 33 yard games from him this season if we want to make the playoffs

Kamara’s deal is fine. He’s welcome to play on it. Only a retarded franchise would extend him at this point though.

If Haener plays the same way he practices, 2-5 years.
If Rattler becomes the heir apparent... who knows, we haven't seen nearly enough to know if that means the QB room is complete shite and if so the next coach can draft his guy and we'll see how that carousel spins.

I really hope this is not serious. Haener is terrible

Probably not again in our lifetimes. You have too many dynamic front offices out there while the Saints draft FCS DE with first round pics. We are way behind the eight ball in terms of young offensive talent with no plans for a long term solution at QB. We will just keep kicking the can while the fans fill the seats.

honestly, if we never get back to or win another SB - I am content with the fact I saw us get one in my lifetime. anything else is just a bonus

Just gotta find joy in the smaller things these days. Even beating the Falcons Daren’s like a daunting task for at least 2024.

If only to make atlanta fan feel even worse we will get a second before they get their first. Next 15 years or so. I can handle one every 15 as a Saints fan of old lol

If my math is correct, I think we are looking at 2050 or somewhere thereabouts.

I don’t think it will ever happen again.

Yep. There’s a reason teams will sign an aging superstar (like Rodgers with the Jets). The NFL will prioritize star power and you can be gifted a postseason run if you have it.

It’s all entertainment so you have to have something marketable or they step on you.

Not sure what drugs you're on but please share. Hanging your hopes on two guys that haven't really shown anything yet seems like a bad bet.

The NFL set up that one in 2009 for us

Maybe if we have another Katrina they might throw us a bone again

You don't seriously believe this horseshite, do you?

Re the OP, massive change would need to happen inside the FO and that isn't going to happen for a long time. Unless they can somehow score the greatest FA signing in history, again, and a coach with a sack, then you're looking at 10-20 years.
