Good O-line is more important for running game in NFL.

None. He is more physically gifted than any running back currently playing in the NFL. That doesn't necessarily mean he will be as successful as them though. A lot of things can negatively affect his level of success.

I hope you are correct...
The more stud LSU RB's in the league the better....
Guice could be unbelievable in Canada's offense....he already is!

It is possible. The only guy I've really seen with Guice's balance is PT. Guice is faster though.

But for all the slack that LF7 gets in the passing game, Guice struggled a lot more in pass protection, routes out the backfield, and catching the ball than LF7 did as a sophomore.

Sorry to hear about Trent Richardson...
It is so sad to see talents like him (and we've seen many from all of our favorite teams) flame out!
Incredible athletes.....making big time bucks...
There should be better support systems in place...

And you're ignorant. Murray ran a 4.38 at 6'2" 223 at the combine. Henry ran a 4.54 at 6'3" 247 and had a 37" vertical. David Johnson ran a 4.50 at 6'1" 224 with a 41.5" vertical. Elliot ran a 4.47 at 225. There are plenty of athletic freaks running the ball in the NFL.

It takes a lot more than athleticism to be successful in the NFL. Henry is big and fast.. but has poor foot quickness, doesn't cut back well, and is a mediocre tackle breaker (probably because he's so tall). 4.54 is pretty fricking crazy for a 250 lb back though.. but his 4.38 20-yard shuttle was embarrassing.. only 2 RB prospects have ran a slower time going back all the way to 2006.. 9 OL have ran faster times since 2006.

Yes I agree, but be careful...apparently you're not allowed to have your own opinion on this thread! :)

All of them. They are in the NFL, and contrary to what the saints put on the field yearly, there's a reason they are in the NFL. They are the best of the best. The most elite athletes around.

Exactly. LF has zero yards so far in the NFL so to compare his greatness to others in the league is silly.

FTR I think LF will do just fine. How fine depends on luck and what team/s he goes to cause he has all the skill in the world.

You alabama fans are funny....
Somehow an alabama/ Saints fan is more dedicated and knowledgable of a Saints fan than an LSU/Saints fan!
Ha!
Just curious...at what pick and what team do you think Leonard Fournette goes in the draft?

Apparently being a fan of a more successful college football program makes for a better judgement of talent

If anything it overrates the talent for a team like bama's. The O-line and D-line recruiting there makes running backs, linebackers, and defensive backs jobs far more easy than it does for other programs. You can't hold that against them though, the game is won in the trenches.

Tell that to the two all-pro linebackers and two all-pro safeties from Alabama, talent scout

You know that's actually a compliment to Alabama's program, right? I didn't say that they weren't talented, I said the talent in the trenches made it easier for them.

A guy like Ragland seemed to earn too much praise in their system especially after seeing Mosely before him. Foster also seems like a more natural talent as well.
