I’m not moving either of our elite tackles into another position. That just doesn’t make sense. Draft a guard in the second or third

I agree. Re-read what I said

How good is Ram at LT?

How many games has he played there?

And what happens to bye bye Peats salary?

How good, is TBD, but when you take in to account he had never played RT before the Saints, gotta feel pretty good that he can be successful at hia college position.

As far as PP salary, I cant seem to find it, but I swear I saw/read where it was crafted with an eject button that wouldn't hurt too badly...or for too long.

I agree Armstead might be gone, but cant see him going before PP (assuming the cap hit is close for both)

An "eject button".

Awesome

Who could argue.

All good things must come to an end I suppose.

So it is.

Not mad at all.

One of my favorite prospects.

Complete opposite of peat.
Former wrestler and a mean motherfricker.

that is dead monies, not base salary. I don't think he's under contract in 2022 and beyond.

There is a salary cap that would prevent that.

I wouldn’t be mad at all. It’s not a sexy pick but when Armstead gets injured again or leaves via free agency, it would be great to have a replacement ready to step up.

Armstead is seemingly always hurt.

Peat is seemingly always hurt.

It wouldn't shock me if they did draft an OL like Jenkins that can play both LT/LG. He would unquestionably see significant playing time to justify the pick.

As far as who the Saints would move first, if forced, it'd be Armstead. The Saints love Peat more than Armstead for some ungodly reason and keep rewarding his sub-par play with good money.

It’s ok. I thought Sean Payton was blowing Anzalone for a while with the way they refused to cut him. Always hurt. Always out.

Why they didn’t cut Peat for so similar issues are beyond me. Hurt, not very good last couple years, etc.
