Nailed it. Only other potential reason is if he’s playing through an injury.

Exactly! Payton did the exact same thing with Reggie Bush and to a degree with Darren Sproles....

He can be a brilliant play caller, but I also believe that his play calling has doomed some seasons.

Even Last year against the rams, the refs made a horrific call, but Payton's playcalling to that point was awful.

He is more decoy now. Defences are keying on him and gang tackling big time.
That's all that it is.

Kamara has not been the same since the Jacksonville game.

IMO he is hurt and not fully healed.

He never makes the first guy miss since that game and that was his bread and butter for 2 seasons.

He was playing just fine until Jacksonville when he got hurt.

People conveniently forget about this. He had a high ankle sprain, which is a significant injury

He's playing hurt, and he seems like he is type of player that can't play well if he's hurt. Just not as explosive.

We *should* be able to win our last 3 without him. Sit him down, get him treatment and rest, and get healthy for the postseason.

And why do they keep giving him the ball in key spots? That run Hill made for the first down was someone giving all he had, I just don't see Kamara doing that anymore.

Because Payton has 3 plays drawn up for him.
1- Hand off up middle.
2- Screen pass to outside.
3- Line up in slot and catch a 3 yd outpass.

What is Kamara’s motivation for “not trying” or “not caring” ? Why is he training hard year round?
