Nah I can watch the Saints with an 8 point lead in a game that should be a blowout, and still see Hill isn't going to be the answer

If you look at my first post I say, Winston isn't going to be the long term answer either.
Both will be serviceable in Brees absence or until the Saints find a long term qb.

I think the issue here is you're assuming the people pointing out that Hill is having a solid game are saying he's our future QB post-Brees. No one is saying that. We're simply pointing out that he's....well....having a solid game and that Jameis has a floor that's 3 stories below the basement.
We don't need a HOF QB right now. We just need someone that can carry us until Brees gets back with the help of our currently great defense.
Jameis has the potential of gifting the Falcon's D with two defensive touchdowns.

I dont see anyone trying to take him away from NOLA unless he gets in while Drew is out and shows improvement.

Yes Hill has been fine today, could have been better but could have been worse. Thankfully he gets his first start against a really shitty falcons team and the Saints defense is playing lights out the last month of so

Maybe we all underestimated how good Hill is. Peyton has repeatedly said he is a QB. I thought Peyton's ego was part of that statement.
