It’s time. We need a young, innovative offensive mind and a few that fit the bill are:

Bobby Slowik (Houston OC):

Despite starting three different quarterbacks in 2022 (Trey Lance, Jimmy Garoppolo, Brock Purdy), Slowik oversaw a passing attack that ranked 13th in yards per game (226.8), fourth in passing yards per play (7.53) and seventh in interception rate (1.76 percent). Following Garoppolo's injury in Week 13, Slowik helped with the production of seventh-round rookie Purdy, who finished the regular season starting five games, throwing for 1,374 yards, 13 touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 107.3.
The leading receiver for the 49ers in 2022 was WR Brandon Aiyuk, who Slowik coached to career highs in receptions (78), receiving yards (1,015) and touchdowns (8). TE George Kittle also tallied a career high in touchdown receptions (11), which helped him earn a Pro Bowl nod and Associated Press Second-Team All-Pro status. Additionally, the 49ers passing scheme was built on parity and had five players record over 400 yards receiving for the first time since 1992.

Running back Austin Ekeler rushed for 12 touchdowns, the most by a Chargers rusher since Hall of Fame running back LaDainian Tomlinson had 12 in 2009. Smith helped develop center Corey Linsley and rookie tackle Rashawn Slater as both earned second-team All-Pro honors and were selected to the first Pro Bowl of their careers.

Ben Johnson is likely going to have his pick of where he wants to go.
If I had to guess the chargers with Herbert look pretty appealing or a team that is going to get Williams.
We basically have nothing to offer him besides the potential of a multi year tank.

Exactly - the lady is 100% clueless. The Saints "leaders" are complacent and have NO accountability. Going to get much worse over the next 2 seasons.

Yeah this is the problem with this offseason.
He's going to pick somewhere with some hope of a QB and not a totally fricked cap situation. Chargers makes sense.
Slowik same kind of thing. Why pick here when you're going to absolutely suck for 3 years at least?
Saints should have gone full rebuild once they got DA, let him be the buffer and then hired someone good.

Loomis is getting lapped. Look at the teams at the top of the league. We aren’t even in the same stratosphere as the 49ers, Dolphins, Bills, Lions, etc. We might as well be playing a different sport. Changes need to happen sooner than later. This is a 3-5 year rebuild and it starts with hiring a new coach who can breathe new life into the organization. I mean we just need a complete philosophy change from top to bottom and that starts with a coach.

The saints are an appealing job, believe it or not
The Saints pay extremely well. Payton was the top 1 or 2 highest paid coaches in the league for years. Even Allen makes a lot. We don’t know how much but Duncan made a point last year to say that firing Allen was cost prohibitive at that time.
The saints pay assistants very well. Gregg Williams, Rob Ryan, Kris Richard, Doug Marrone, Ryan Nielsen, Dan Campbell- all expensive assistants.
The HC will have a lot of input and control as well

I agree, our organization seems to give the coach full autonomy over player and personnel decisions, unlike some organizations (I’m looking at you Dallas). However, the guy we’ve given this power to is completely inept. It’s ridiculous. I mean signing Derek Carr is exhibit A. This organization had the opportunity to hit the reset button 2 years ago and look where we are now. You sign a middle of the road quarterback who could be serviceable if you have a system that is elite (i.e. Purdy and Goff). We have the furthest thing from that. TBH if you put Goff or Purdy in this offense I think the team looks the exact same as it stands today. Horrible schematics makes a middle of the road qb look like a bottom 5 qb in the league.

Why not keep DA for cheap while we tank ? Then hire someone a few years into a rebuild? Or are yall going to want to fire the dude we hire after we “tank “

because DA has proven to be a terrible drafter. You get your guy and he drafts for the future based on the scheme he wants to run.

And Johnson will have his pick of numerous jobs this off season. Stuck with Carr and cap hell, it won’t be NOLA.
