Shockey was very good. One of the better ones in the league at the time, but probably not “elite”.

In his first year with us , Colston was listed as a tight end in fantasy football.

Stole many leagues wins with that loophole.

I really liked Vernon Davis but idk if he was elite. His best year in a passing league was 900 yards. I liked him as i believe he was a complete tight end in an era where blocking tight ends weren’t the norm anymore but to call him elite imo is a stretch during his career.

Russ Francis was on the back end of his career when the Niners got him. His glory days were with the Patriots.
