I have to believe that with two picks ahead of us at 40 (33 & 36) Cleveland will take a QB with one of them.
All this new information coming about about Carr (coming form his brother but you know it’s from Derek) seeming to soften up the schism between him and the team makes me scared they’re goin to patch things up and we will be stuck with Carr for 2025. IMO just cut him and move on. 40 mil to admit your mistake is a heavy price to pay but 40 mil and continuing to make that mistake is even worse.

David Carr issued a statement basically saying Carr is hopeful about just rehabbing the shoulder and returning to the Saint this season. The Team is fully aware, and have been of Dereks situation with his shoulder injury and have been supportive.
Definitely softening up the stance that Derek wants out and likely will be out. Yea it’s from David but it’s really from Derek. David doesn’t put that out without Derek’s approval.

I'm starting to believe everything Carr and his brother have said recently has been an attempt to get the Saints not to draft a QB early that the fans would expect to start.
He let it be known he wanted a trade which didnt materialize and he got butthurt about it.. He then let it be known he didn't want the Kirk Cousins treatment. Then he threatened to sit out for a two year old shoulder injury which surprised the Saints that he might need surgery.
If his shoulder hurts so bad why hasn't he already had surgery. Its all a lie. Plus what kind of shoulder injury would cost him a whole season?
Behind closed doors I bet Carr said if you take a early QB I'm sitting out. Loomis dumbass has already paid the guy 40 million so I bet he is bending over backwards to get him to come back.
I bet if we do take a QB it will be a known project guy like Milroe so Carr doesn't feel threatened.
I just keep being hopeful that hopefully this is the last year Carr will ever be in a Saints uniform. But I'm worried Loomis will extend his dumbass.

Torn labrum. I’ve had mine fixed 3 times. All 3 times doctor said that he was ‘keeping me out for the season’. He was the Saints doctor back in the day and said that he would have kept any player out for the season with the injury.

Loomis and the Saints deserve for Carr to get every fricking penny owed to him. Carr is not to blame for the contract the team gave him.
