No reason to mope too much, its not like we would be heavy favorites like in 2011.

1. 30mil+ in cap space with moves that can easily make that 40mil.
2. 21 IR'd, half are starters...that's lots of missing talent for lots of this season.
3. Majority of our free agents aren't huge $$$, Brees obviously but Vaccaro (if he stays) and Okafor won't cost a ton
4. We are actually very young and have quality talent to actually build on.
5. Competent scouting department

Good fricking season boys, but the arrow is pointing up, not at 7-9 every year.

Still hate leaving meat on the bones. Would have been a tough game next week against Philly, but regardless we should be watching the Saints in Philly next week.

Unless the game has changed this weekend, the saints have a pretty fricking goood qb.

He's not young but he was a top 5 QB this season, what's your point?

We keep acting like this is an accident or bad luck.
We draft and hire injury-prone players.

Regardless, I generally agree with you.
We'll be better next year.

As pissed as I am, they did fight like hell to get back into that one. After that Brees int, I thought we were done. It sucks but hey
