We need to resign M Williams long term and keep our other young talent. If we can’t get Watson at a decent value in a trade, I’d rather sit tight and let the qb market play out.

If Winston wants or signs for 15-20 million a year, I’d rather sit tight and sign Teddy B, Fitz or Trubisky or whoever wants a starter spot cheap once all the musical chairs are filled. Someone will not have a spot and all are about in the same tier.
Watson is the only difference maker that’s left on the market.

Id rather sign a qb for 5-7 mill this year and finally get our cap situation fixed.

Who needs a QB anyway. Its just not that important of a position and there are always so many value contracts.

I'd rather try to be as competitive as possible this year and also try be as competitive as possible next year.

Max out every year to the best of your ability. Don't focus too far down the road...it's not like you can foreclose in the NFL

And in your Madden game you won't see all the players leaving the Saints next year after a 4-13 season.

Seems inevitable they were always going cheap at qb this year without payton.

Re-sign jameis, get the books somewhat right, and see where you are.

If marcus williams and armstead get top dollar they are gone.

Didn’t Bridgewater go 5-0 when starting with basically the same team?

What was Taysoms starting record last year?

Please spell out why we woukd only win 4 games when Taysom won more than that last year in what 6-7 starts???

I’ll wait.

So yall all think we are a better team with Winston at say 15 a year or Jimmy G at 20 with no Marcus Williams or T armstesd than say a T Bridgewater at 6 million a year with one or possibly both. Yea ok.

well the offense was tailored for him but yes he did well

i prefer teddy over winston 1000-1

but i want to see taysom have a legitimate chance to lead this team when he isnt injured.

taysom showed far more promise and improvement in the games he played then winston ever did, and thats with payton having already checked out and not really giving a damn

So you don’t think the offense will be tailored for him if he comes back? He’s basically 41 year old Brees. Very accurate in the short to mid range throws. Won’t make mistakes to lose you the game. Fits our offense.

He’s not getting a starting job any where else. Will only command backup money 5-7 mill a year most likely, but he can start for us.

The talent level from him, Jameis and jimmy G is not much different. Like I said keep and build up the talent everywhere else and we will continue to win games.
