I'm not being critical of Alejandro. I usually agree with him. In fact, I think he does have an argument that the defense was not as bad as many like to say. That being said, I don't see how anyone can say that Gibbs is a real loss. No matter what, there's a lot of room for improvement on defense.

He would work well, I believe. Where was he at before he coached the Jets and Chiefs?

your welcome

Pretty sure Jesus knows proper English.

You're welcome.

ETA: Thank goodness Gibbs is gone. It's a combination of players and coaching, but I just can't believe our players are THAT bad that we are as bad as we are.

I don't get why everyone is opposed to 3-4 guys?!?? The 4-3 we field hasn't done jack sh** so why not change it up if we could land a great 3-4 DC? Grant is really a 3-4 end, and this is a great LB draft class. Fujita played the 3-4, Vilma could move OLB. Sign Scott to play mlb and draft the other.

remember their was a guy on here a couple of months ago, that said his dad was a chiro. for the saints and he heard there would be a current head coach that would resign or be fired that would come here as dc. figured it may have a connection to payton's pass in the a coaching circle....

Vilma would leave.. he came to the Saints to get away from the 3-4

Happy we fired him, but not happy for the man, it's got to be tough, he did his best.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, but its something that has to be phased in because of the personell. I pointed out before that Dallas didn't have it under Parcells at first(not until they got the personell for it). He is the originator of the 3-4, I think.

because we're about to invest in a big time MLB who left the system because it wasn't a fit for him. Not to mention we just drafted a DT in the top 10 that does not fit the scheme

but yea other than that we should totally do it

We need to hit on the new DC. The Saints only have a certain amount of time left to make their run with Drew Brees. He is not getting any younger. Hopefully, next year we can avoid the amount of injuries that we ran into in '08. Are the strength and conditioning coaches are being reevaluated?
