Could have just knelt it the last 3 downs and been in slightly better FG range but we will still take the points

Put rattler at RB and let the kicker throw him a swing out pass to let him see how it feels…

That's not on Rattler. That's on Moore for a poor play design. If a check down is a hospital ball then every QB in the NFL has thrown hospital balls numerous times.

With that said, Rattler sucks.

The timing of the throw, coupled with the ball location, with a defender closing in, caused the injury.

I fricking DESPISE the term “hospital ball”. I automatically discount any kind of “analysis” from that person…….because they are emotional bitches. Every HOF QB in the history of the game has made throws that has gotten guys hurt, it’s a violent game and it happens.

That being said, to say that the fault of that throw lays at Moore’s feet is fricking retarded. It was a terrible throw and that part is on Rattler.

The injury part, I lay more at the feet of the DB. I am tired of seeing these submarine tackles that keep resulting in lower leg injuries. Learn how to fricking tackle

BS. There was 2 defenders on him as soon as he swung out. There was zero correct ball placement in that situation.

Its terrible play design. I don't care when or how you throw it.

I fully agree with the tackle. It's crap.

Then what would you call it then Madden? That’s a simple check down that he waiting FOREVER to get to him. Then he lobbed it over to him. I can understand him throwing a seam route or something over the middle and sticking the ball in there. But man, that was a hospital ball

Rat said after the game he should have thrown the ball away.

You think the guy who actually threw the ball knows more than ST? Don’t be ridiculous.

The sport will still be violent with proper tackling genius.

It was definitely a TERRIBLE pass, but that happens in football. The main culprit for the injury was the “throwing my body at someone’s legs” tackle…….because he doesn’t know how to tackle……

Rattler stared the defender down, then stared down Estime before throwing the ball. Captain check down is easy to read, because he looks exactly where he is going with the ball before throwing it, and it’s usually late.
The ball should have came out right where you see the still frame above. He waited and put his back in a bad spot.

And he had two guys getting open to his right, with his first two reads. He had no business going to his check down to begin with. Watch the replay. Learn ball baw.

This had more to do with it than the actual throw placement. It damn sure wasn’t a shitty playcall or play design like someone stated here
