I don’t even think it’s that. Have you ever heard an old lady discuss football? I’d bet my home that if you were to test the owners of the nfl on even the most basics of football and business she would come in last or bottom 3 at absolute best. She trusts the L men fully because she’s too old and not savvy enough in either venture.
They’re not going to hire a consulting committee to replace themselves so she’s going to continue to run it back, celebrate the CSP and Brees days,make socialite appearances, give to charities, etc.
The Saints won’t fundamentally change until she dies or the L men decide they want off the gravy train for some reason.
Hell just look for one article from the local media about ownership decisions being looked at in a critical manner. There are zero. She’s only mentioned when it comes to some philanthropic or social context.
