Garrett Hartley > Lutz

Lutz became an entitled lil bitch once Payton gave him that bullshite ringing endorsement when he first brought him in. Payton always has to be the smart guy in the room, yet couldn't manage to be more than a stat stuffer with one of the best QB's of all time. I think it was the playoff game a few years ago when Latavius Murray was killin em on the ground in the first half. So Shawn decides to come out in the second half and let old arse Drew start to throw it around the park. I believe that was the NFC Divisional against Tampa Bay. Garrett Hartley deserves alot more credit than he's ever gotten for having ice water in his veins when it counted most. Lutz is an overrated bitch.

WTF are you melting over?
an aging kicker feels bad he got replaced by a younger guy so he says good things about his new coach.
why would anyone really care? its not like he was morton anderson who scored more points than our entire offense used to do.
we improved our kicking game for this season and the future. im glad the guy got a chance at another team, i think deep down most of us feel the same way

You need to step away from the keyboard, my man. Deep breaths.
on the Garrett Hartley > Lutz No on FG, Yes on XP
Lutz 165/195 (84.6%) FG, Long of 60. 286/293 (97.6%) XP
Hartley 82/101 (81.2%) FG, Long of 55. 176/177 (99.4%) XP

You do realize Lutz got traded against his will. He seemed very upset at the prospect of leaving. Why are you so mad? You should probably see a therapist.

Both seemed to miss kicks they should make consistently.

Remember XPs got moved to the 15 yard line from the 2 in 2015 (I believe). So Lutz and Hartley's XP% isn't comparable.
Imo Lutz was much better and fell off due to injuries and confidence coming back from it. Hartley became an alcoholic, big difference in situations.
This also not in anyway an attempt to dis Hartley, just trying to show that OPs comments are nothing more than recency bias.

Where did Lutz hurt you? Did he touch your no no?

I hope you're kidding. Lutz got hurt and hasn't really been the same player prior to the injury. That doesn't make it his fault, nor does it mean he can't return to his old form, nor does it mean the trade was the right/wrong decision. You just never know.
I for one hope he makes a full recovery and has a long career. Injuries suck.
