Fuaga Is a BEAST! I don’t understand why some people were hating on the pick

Got to give the gum smacker some credit. Y’all were hating on Loomis all offseason. He got us some steals in Fuaga and Rattler.

Was a 1st round pick. He was supposed to come in and be a starter day 1. How is he a "steal"?!

Getting the top tier II QB in the 5th looks like a steal.
Fuaga was the correct choice in the 1st.
Kool-Aid is going to have a nfl career.
Means, Ford and Boyd all have a good chance to make team. The last two drafts look very good to me.

2023 had all picks still on team going into 24.

Bryan Bresee Solid starter
Isaiah Foskey Looks like a cut
Kendre Miller Makes the team if healthy
Nick Saldiveri Penciled in as LG
Jake Haener Pushing for #2 QB
Jordan Howden Pushing to start
A.T. Perry Pushing to start

Any 1st Rd pick that pans out is reason to celebrate. At least half of them are busts every year.

Almost nobody was hating on the pick. There are always a few people that preferred someone else and aren’t happy, but this was a pretty universally accepted pick at a position of need for us.

It's a shame how much draft capital has been spent on the O Line.

This unit should be devastating.

If people are hating it is because OL is never a sexy pick.

But, but...Penning and Foskey look like busts. That means we should fire the entire coaching staff and management, right? How dare you insinuate that most of the players in the last 2 drafts may make the team. You're just a Loomis apologist!

Or even worse. Aren't they supposed to draft terrible players so that they can be the worst team in football and then draft great players? Loomis should be fired for that!

What's wrong with you, bringing logic to this board? Only "dumbest guy in the bar" analysis is allowed here.

And if any of those guys went out for the season tomorrow it wouldn’t affect anything save Breese

Making this team is not an accomplishment. You rebuilt this team in ‘17 on the backs of impact players through the draft. Early picks that yield organizational depth is not the way

1. Glad when they're a success, but he's a 1st rounder. He's only a steal if he ends up All-Pro maybe
2. Fair to be happy with his success, but let's pump the breaks. He has <1/2 a pre-season game under his belt

I'll introduce you to Trevor Penning. Many first round picks don't add up to jack, so it's ok to be excited.
