Yeah. It does suck. This team is pretty deep, though. It's best to get injuries out of the way early and get healthy before a playoff run

How, exactly, does a strength and conditioning coach prevent a bruised knee?

If Vilma had a bit more power, agility, and quickness... he could have gotten out the way. Duh.

At least we got Smith back.

Why would Vilma be doubtful when he got hurt last week then came back to play?

maybe.

but my point was, he will be available to play IMO. he will at least not let that sweet throwback jersey go to waste.

if not, we have a thumper in Dunbar.

Missing Vilma on the defense is not quite as bad as missing Brees on offense, but it's still quite a hit.

We might as well play a 5-2 front if this means Herring is gonna be out there.

What happened to Wilson? Did I miss him going on IR or something? Is he not progressing yet?

Are we going to see the saints unleash the "Tez" on houston?

Oh snap...how did I forget about Tez? I don't recall seeing him in our first two games. If he's ready, this would be a great game for him to play. He get's in the backfield.

I was being sarcastic from earlier in the thread.

but yeah, Vilma isn't like losing Drew, buts its a pretty big hit considering he hasn't missed but maybe one play since he's been a Saint.

I think it is obvious they don't think he is ready yet. Otherwise, we wouldn't be seeing Shanle and Herring on the field so much...

He needs it. I thought you were a crotchety poster, but Chad504Boy is taking it to another level. He makes you seem almost pleasant.
