So you have a problem with the family accepting the money, not really with Donte then.
You are dense ButtBoy. Where in the quote did he say anything about cash?

I don't mind Chad being a hard-headed mud slinger at all though. Makes this place more interesting.

In reality, it's probably closer to 1.5 % because of the enormity of all the dumbasses around here. But i'm a generous person and like to give people hope that one day, they too can be a 10 percenter.
And this debate isn't about 10 pages. This is about Donte trying to make a family rich, not ever driving again (maybe for work purposes later), doing community services, pleading guilty in the court of law and he still can't catch a break from all the white envious folks who want to act all self righteous like they haven't drank a fifth of vodka and been dared to drive.

I don't think Donte' is a punk. I do think he deserves a good bit of anal rape though.

yeah but in this case, black is probably substituted by racial adjectives that tigerdroppings does not approve of. I can only imagine this guy's thoughts of african americans.

quote:I guess you have to count me in this group then. If and when I drink I don't drive. Never have, never will. That's because I'm cognizant that being impaired behind the wheel increases the possibility that I could kill someone. You'll call this manslaughter. Manslaughter is nothing more than murder without intent. If you damn well know that drunk driving increasing your chances of causing a fatal accident and you get behind the wheel anyway that's just as good as intent.

how many riots would there have been if the NFL player were ohhhhhhh, say, Jeremy Shockey-ish pigment, and the pedestrian were ohhhhhhh, say, Rodney King-ish pigment with the same legal outcome? just saying......
oh, and shame on ya'll for letting Chads arse lead you aimlessly for 6 pages. He was sooooo FOS on all those sarcastic posts, he was just walkin the dog. It's the end of the post quarter and he is just trying to meet quota....

i am in this group too.
then ur opinion on this matter is not hippocritical(sp?).i think a lot of people make comments about donte when themself or someone they are close to find themself in the same situation after drinking and driving. it's very hippocritical(sp?). ur comments aren't.

i can't agree with this. people know that drinkin and drivin kills. bad analogy, but people also know that smoking cigarettes kill. people (young people especially) get in the car after a night out. it's a big mistake. tragedy can happen. but intent to kill, i don't think so.

If so, props to you.
But most who say something like this with the advantage of anonymnity(sp) are flat out lying. I don't drink and drive now but I had to learn the hard way not to. Luckily nobody was hurt.

quote:Would it make you feel better if someone killed (let's just say) your child while driving drunk. Would you feel any mercy for this person knowing that they ignored the fact driving drunk would greatly attribute to them killing someone else in an accident? The outcome would be the same for me whether there was intent or not. My child would be dead and it would be that driver's fault. I'd want to beat on the driver until there was nothing left but wet, red chunks. I'm admitedly not a good person though.
