Saints are gonna have like the 26th pick. Don't be that guy.
Unless I'm missing the sarcasm meter.

I think that offense would be quickly schemed against.

Jesus Christ... I know you BAWS lack a lot of education, but try to scrape a few brain cells together. Hill has shown promise -- far more than Brees showed today, quite frankly.

What is the purpose of keeping Brees at QB when you're not going to compete for a title? Just to make the fans feel good? frick that. It's better to start moving towards the future than fricking around in the past so you guys can jerk off to Brees' stat collecting.

I can’t answer that question. But I know this. Brees was ineffective in three areas today that hurt. Immobility was one. A qb in today’s NFL needs to be able to extend plays with his feet. Brees cannot do that. Arm strength. You better be able to stretch the field and make secondaries respect the deep ball. Strike two on Brees. And the third he really can’t do anything about and that’s height. Couldn’t get the ball over the line on a screen play that might have gone for a nice gain. If you don’t have height on your side then you better be mobile. He’s not.

I will always be grateful for what he’s done as far as the one super bowl and all the records. But he’s average in playoff games. And today he was less than average.

I get it cas. But nobody is being honest with themselves.

So Kirk Cousins won a playoff game. Yay. The Vikings aren't going to the SB. Neither are the Saints with a Cousins clone, or Taysom Hill, or Teddy.

The most likely option is Teddy. But Saint's aren't gonna release Brees to start Teddy. No way. The dome would be half empty on Sundays.

I thought your OP was a great question. But the suggestions like Burrow and Hill are ridiculous.

Nobody cares. Brees is trash. Payton is trash. Obviously the Board just assumes all we have to do is ask Belichek and he's coming here and we can package some scrubs and late-round picks to get Burrow.

The talk on here is ridiculous.

Couch coaches know all!

They like TAY TAY so much simply because they see a bit of themselves in him. The “common guy”. The great white hope if you will.

They don’t want to accept reality and the fact that the only reason Hill looks good is because of the gimmicky plays he is put in by Sean Payton. It works here and there a few snaps per game.

They want to believe that their common guy, their great white hope is a superstar and king.

He's the QB on the roster with the best chance of winning a title?

The Saints went 40 years with zero QB

The notion that there is a capable replacement that will be readily available, and more importantly an upgrade, is frickin laughable

Lol so every team in the NFL that doesn’t believe their current QB is super howl worthy should just drop their starter for their backup because reasons.

And I’m the one who lacks brain cells.

You don’t fricking drop a hall of fame QB for a backup just because he’s “shown some promise”

Hill is not a starting NFL QB. He’s a fantastic overall player. But you knee jerkin’ dumbasses who somehow think he’s a worthy replacement need to put down the pipe.

You’re a fricking idiot.

He absolutely would be a downgrade but it would be fun and we'd win the same amount of hardware we are now.

The notion of dropping a hall of famer to elevate an ATH type player with some ability to pass is fricking lunacy. These people are too emotional.

And I guess my point in the OP is that it’s clearly time to start making moves, but in the interim, Brees should be retained while we work through that.

And you are wanting to rush the saints into the abyss. We won’t even compete in our own division with Taysom taking every snap. Jesus Christ, you are a dullard.

We need to replace PEAT who can't stay healthy and isn't very good. We need a new defensive coordinator who really sucks in the playoffs. He refused to put pressure in A gap making a QB uncomfortable. He allowed Keenum and Cousins to look like A+ qbs.
We need to get a more physical RB or feed Murray more because Kamara is "useless" without a power back. I know some of ya'll worship Kamara, but without a power back we just as soon save money and let Kamara go.
We also desperately need a solid 2 receiver Trey quan is not the answer! The dude can't get separation or make clutch catches. Justin Jefferson or a beast slot receiver is what we need to bail Brees out. That's how Brady won 6 super bowls, he had a "speed midget" running drag routes always bailing his statue slow arse out of 3rd and 4 situations.

Taysom Hill, right now, is a better QB than Brees
