Seems to be one of the differences between this year and last year's team so far. We got swept by the Panthers last year.

Not as many penalties up there last night either.

The last time we played them in that stadium we self destructed. A fumble return for a TD, a missed chip shot FG, bad tackling.

We did have the one turnover last night which Carr has thrown one pick in both games but at least they were both one apiece for each game.

I do appreciate, despite throwing an INT in each game so far --- I don't remember a lot of passes that went "damn we're lucky that wasn't picked off" compared to last year.

Now those 2 INTs were absolutely inexplicable and ridiculous, but those I think are fixable with film review. He's obviously not seeing something or believing something isn't there when there obviously is.

But goddamn we suck arse in the red zone.

I don't like that Carr has thrown two ints, especially since both of them were just bad throws. I can excuse it if the defense makes a good play or if it's a 50/50 ball but both were straight into coverage.

Agreed but we did have slight improvement with 2 tds instead of 1.

Still a couple of bad penalties by Adebo that cost a sack fumble and field position other than him DBs played a great game

Hmm, does that mean we get 3TDs or 4TDs this week against GB???

He’s yet to get on the same page as his receivers.

The knock on Carr is he has moments where he gets over-excited/nervous/presses and just short-circuits and throws these inexplicable passes that we’ve seen two of already.

But the positive is that outside of those 1-2 plays a game he’s an above average quarterback. Just kind of have to live with those and hope they don’t come in a crucial situation

I think that he is just getting impatient. The offense hasn't been humming and I think in both cases he tried to force something that wasn't there out of frustration.

Agree, interesting take. I still think they lack the drive to put teams away and the offense looks disjointed at times.

That’s gonna come back and bite them more than once this year.
