I'm becoming more convinced hill and savage will both be cut. They aren't keep 5 RB or 6 wr.
Also I don't think Clapp gets through waivers either

I feel like Brandon Tate is a wasted roster spot. He provides nothing at the receiver position and he has not scored a return TD on punts or kickoffs since 2011 or so.

He's also not a complete train wreck at that spot like most of the guys we put there. We don't see many returns anymore in general.
Who else do we have to return punts or KO's? Kamara is about the only guy but we don't want him getting hurt doing that.

I’d give Williams the RB, a shot at returning kicks. He’s similar to Pierre Thomas and he used to be really good at getting out to the 40 or so. For punts, I’d just put a guy back there that can catch and call fair catch every single time. Once you account for holding penalties and block in the back calls, the Saints have had essentially negative punt return yardage the past 2 seasons. It’s not even worth it to try and return anything anymore and it’s not as if Tate is a gamebreaker. His longest punt return was 40 yards last year and his longest kick return was 29 yards.

Meat: I like it overall. Here's a different take.
QB - agree
RB - agree, cutting Edmunds after game 4 for Ingram.
WR - keeping 6, Thomas, Smith, Ginn, Meridith, Tate and Kirkwood. Tate makes it as the returner, and TLL has got to go.
TE - swap Hooman for Arnold
OL - agree. Maybe swap Bushrod for Clapp. Not impressed at all with Bushrod.
DL - Totally agree.
LB - agree it'll end up this way, but I like Elliot over Stupar.
CB - agree
S - agree
ST - agree
