I LOVE the player, but.....
We gave up way too much to go get him when we sent a future 2nd their way. I really would like to see us trade a player or something to get back into the second or third and get a receiver and DT

It’s fine. McCoy is universally considered a first round talent.

I like the pick. Erik McCoy is a very good player and will help a lot on the oline. But, I think he'd of been available at 62. And there were a few other players rated higher the Saints could have got.

yep, it sucks the way the saints just have so little value in future draft picks as if the future will never get here. Was great last year to get Davenport but then we were fricked in this years draft because of it. Now we are fricked for next years draft. Need to stop reaching so hard for players. Would be better to trade back and gather picks than do this shite.

Our window is now down to 1 year with Brees. Unger is on a beach somewhere. We better dance with who brung us. Love love love the pick. He wouldn't have lasted til 62. Every team could use a good young OL. Saints just shoved all in.

Again, trading a high pick in a future draft doesn’t sit well with me. You knew Payton was going to do this.
