- Saints start slow
- Saints get hot
- Brees goes down for extended period and team rallies around back-up to keep winning.
- Saints drop an NFC game they shouldn't to lose control of their own destiny
- Spend the last quarter of the season pulling for anyone to beat the Packers
- Depending on the Seahawks to beat the Niners to get a bye

Like last season, I believe the Packers are overrated, but they rarely lose games they shouldn't and it seems like they never run into a good team at the end of the season. Let's hope for some different outcomes.

It does feel like last season and a few previous. But Saints are bound to catch a break and this Team is due for one.

What makes it different to me is Emmanuel sanders. This team isn’t nearly as predictable as it was on offense the last couple of years. You can’t be predictable in the playoffs.

Same situation maybe, but it feels a little different to me. In the past, I genuinely believed the Saints should have won, or at least got to the Super Bowl. This year, it feels like we're holding on by our fingertips. Offense is a shadow of years past.

As for catching breaks, I don't expect any to come our way. Any 50-50 calls will go the other way. We're unofficially 'the other team' in just about every playoff matchup... unless Brees announces he is retiring after this season.

Only difference this year is the competition to win the NFC is probably tougher this season. Brady and the Seahawks defense will be tough outs for someone.

Yeah there are a lot of similarities but I don't really think that there are truly dominant teams this year.

The chiefs still make me scratch my head though like are they going to find another gear when the playoffs come cuz if they can I think they're most definitely the team to beat.

I do think having to go up there and play in the bitter cold against Green Bay with Brees not being able to make all the throws that he used to make is a tall order. We will have to do what we did during the playoffs the year we won the super bowl and that's not turn the ball over and that is extremely hard to do now obviously if you only had one or two turnovers the entire playoffs including the super bowl you're still in good position but it's going to take an effort like that to go all the way and I just don't know if we can do it that's hard for anybody.

All I can tell you is the saints passing game will absolutely get shut down in the playoffs when defenses are allowed to play tighter. They’ll get bounced in a game where the offense scores 17-20.

Saints won't have the Vikings in the way this time.

Hope the refs don't win either.

Right, MrWhoDat?
