I was always a huge fan of the special teams grinders. Gleason and Reis would come to mind. Also really liked Mike Karney and Boo Williams.

Disagree. After Brees, the only correct answer is Sam Mills. He was a 5'9" ILB, a refugee from the USFL that became an All-Pro.

Don't get me wrong - I really like Colston, but Sam Mills, man.

I meant not even close for me.

I didn't start following the Saints until about Aaron Brooks. My dad & uncles always talk about Mills though.

Dave Waymer and Frank Warren were two of my favorites in the paper bag years.

And I can’t believe no one has mentioned Joe Johnson or Laroi Glover yet??

And I always wish we could have seen a healthy Bayou Bullet for a few more years
