As someone who professes to be a Christian and, therefore, a follower of Jesus Christ, I wanted to publicly apologize to all of you for reacting the way I did. I hate the arrogance of Saints fans and I let it get to me. I make no excuses for how I reacted. Regardless of how much trash that Saints fan was talking, I should have responded more responsibly than I did.

Rob Ryan is not that good of a D coordinator to turn that D from what it was 2 yrs ago to what it was last year.

This will be the first good offense they have faced since 2012. Just look at there schedule from last year if you have a hard time believing this

WTF? In what world does ATL have a better offense than who we played last year?

quote:

They will not be a top 5 D, not even top 10 this year

They have one of the best secondaries and Dlines in the league

quote:

They will be a bottom 5 defense , after week one of the regular season

Yep ATL sure will.

quote:

As always this will be a hard fought game but we'll win easy if the pass protection holds up.

I don't think matty ice will have time to throw. That plus you'll have to stop us(I doubt that highly).

quote:

Basically, if the revamped o-line plays solid, Matty Ice will rip them a new one. If Ryan has time, there is NO WAY that group of CBs can consistently cover Julio, Roddy, HD & Hester.

He's never "ripped us a new one" even when our secondary was terrible. Julio will be tough but the rest are past their prime.

Delusional fricks

Case 1. Bounty gate. Saints should never been punished because they should have been flagged for those dirty plays to begin with, which would have cost them games and they would have quit on their own. Everyone in the world saw the ridiculously late hit on Favre in the playoffs. The refs started letting the Saints get away with blatant penalties since Katrina. Could have easily been stopped before it began.

Note; I haven't bet on the Falcons in forever, but I feel like the Birds are gonna come out like caveman and put an ole-fashioned smack down on the Saints.

can anyone decipher this?

quote:The falcons get a lot of Disrespect. The obvious question is what respect is really due. Well that's a great question. But when considering the state of our franchise compared to some of the other NFL Franchise who are herald to be so great and others who have been far worse than Atlanta and never get dogged out the way we do. I think we should rise up together. We should create an ever growing list of twitter users who consistently dog out the Falcons and every time we tweet about a victory, a falcons photo, and touchdown, a catch or tackle or whatever; we can tweet it @ them. Flood their feed with RISE UP! Force them to realize we are far more respectable than they have been willing to admit. I see this getting to the point where sport analyst preference their statements about the falcons by starting with "I don't want the falcons fans to Blacklist me but…" I suggest we do this the right way and not add people for just making a negative comments but reserve he list for those who practice the ridiculousness we have seen lately. Also another idea is some people could be on the list for maybe just a week based on a prediction they made. I know it's more popular to bash and idea so I am expecting to hear how Stupid of an idea this is. However it seems much more reasonable to join together and Rise Up against the Warren Sapps of the world than it is to cry about their Falcons bashing.

WTF

9 years later... Still claiming this.

Opening Kickoff 2048 they'll be still claiming Katrina as their reason for losing to us so often.

First intelligent statement I read from them

put an ole-fashioned smack down on the Saints.

Then follows up with that

The Keys to a Win
1. Make some big scores from outside the redzone.
2. Keep Brees out of rhythm.

I think the Saints are overrated right now, and we are underrated. Let's not forget that we were a **** good team before injuries last year and should've beaten them at the beginning of the season.

Call it a hunch, but I think Brees comes out flat, we get some pressure on him, and he has some bad throws in this game. He has barely played this preseason and hasn't been all incredible over the last year or two anyway. He's getting old!

quote:

Yeah, I think we need to take a page out of the Saints playbook and beat the **** out of Brees. I don't even care if we have a few 15-yard penalties, we should rough him up.

They have been doing it to Ryan for years, and we haven't done **** against them.

quote:

Knock out each katrina ref that arrives

This is what their fans really believe?

and a lot of those yards/TDs came when everyone in the stadium knew he was going to throw because our running game stank.

Mr. Blank called out this team for being soft and allowing the Aints to get away with punking Ryan. He made sure TD and Smith knew how disappointed he was. You can bet Smith will have these guys ready to set a new tone for this season. Smith's job is on the line and he doesn't want to see Mr. Blanks face if we allow the Aints to beat us at home.

quote:

My biggest concern is the officiating. We all know that there's at least 1 bad call that always goes in the Aints favor. It seems we never get a break in this matchup and with most of these games being close, that "break" makes a huge difference.

One thing I do worry about is us getting called for roughing the passer one too many times. Hicks is a monster this year

Biggest concerns going into the game:

My concern is not the aints, it's the zebras.

My biggest worry since Katrina:

The REFS.

getting the stench of the Saint team & fans out of the stadium after we beat them
