Now that’s not nice

frick them, but I get it. If the roles were reversed, and this had happened to them, it would be the highlight of my year.

frick it, they are still stuck with their shite team and their shite quarterback, living in their shite city. We go in raw next year.

Lol the falcons suck. They actually made it to the super bowl and blew the game themselves. Sorry arse franchise.

Falcons: suck so much the give up a 25 point lead to lose the super bowl

Saints: so powerful the league needs to step in and prevent them from going

this was best case scenario for Atlanta fans. They will eat this shite up like our fan base does 28-3. Just don't let it get to you

From Falcons Board

quote:

The worst call I ever saw was when John Abraham got literally tackled in the endzone by a badly beaten left tackle when Brees was trying to break a passing record on MNF. Would have been a safety, Falcons get the ball and Brees breaks the record next week at 1 o'clock. That's when referee Jeff Triplett took matters into his own hands and said that " since its was a screen pass (it wasn't) the tackle in the endzone of the defender was legal (it's not legal to do that....ever). Saints keep the ball and Stat Whore Brees sets his record in front of a national audience. Yep I remember that play, literally just picked up the flag and said nope were giving it to brees for no reason. No safety which was ridiculous. Worst over turned call I've ever seen.

I had completely forgotten about that haha. That was pretty bad.

In the grand scheme of things it was no big deal because it wasn’t like it was determining a Super Bowl and Brees would have just broken the record the next game. But the NFL wanted him to break the record in a prime time game and the Refs made sure it happened.

The integrity of the game was lost a long time ago my friends.

I am so glad that the Falcons blew the Super Bowl against the Patriots. At the time, I was actually pulling for them as I despise and am plumb sick of Tom Brady and the Patriots, but in retrospect, given what assholes Falcons fans are, I'm very happy that they have to live with the pain of the Falcons blowing a big lead in the Super Bowl. I hope it eats at them forever, and they NEVER win the Super Bowl.
