When Roddy dropped the ball at the end of the game I lost my mind. I picked up my 40 inch flat screen and slammed it on the ground. When I ripped the tv off its stand, the cord you plug into the wall whipped around and hit my 7 year old son in the face. It didn't hit him hard but he started crying. To make it worse, I was so angry that I didn't even notice. My wife said he hid behind the couch and started crying uncontrollably, while I was in the other room slamming my head against the door frame.

I kicked a hole in the wall at my parents house back in the Haslett days when we got blown out by Tampa Bay. I think it was 2001 season. It was at Tampa and I think ABrooks through a pick six to pretty much end it. I was 14 at the time and had to pay for it. Since then I pretty much just resort to occasionally throwing my hat or whatever is in reaching distance and hope it doesn't break anything.

What do Atlanta Falcons fans and a Black Hole have in common?

Both suck.

Question. Is Atlanta's agony more satisfying to you with them losing the NFC Championship game in a heartbreaker right on the cusp of a super bowl appearance, or would have been better for them to lose to Seattle in the first playoff game like they always do?

I prefer them to have lost to seattle. Not only is it even more demoralizing, it would question "matty ice" and mike smith and if it's correct combination with regular season winners and 0-4 losers...now he's 1-4 -__-

I agree. I was hoping to witness the meltdown of another Matty ice collapse.

However, remember how devastating the Bears NFC championship game loss was?
For me it was way worst that any Saints first round exit.

Jesus Christ. That's pathetic for any fan. I love my Falcons but if I had children, I'd know where my main priorities stood.

Good God, this is sad.

The original poster has serious issues. First off I never get that caught up in PRO Football especially since most of it is controlled by the bookies. I know many will scoff at my remark but what's true is true.

For a grown man to slam his 40 inch tv to the ground out of anger over a damn football game needs to be in a psychiatric hospital for mental issues.

I love to watch the Saints and follow them, but I will NEVER go to the extreme like that idiot did when his beloved Falcons lost. And then his children are afraid of him. You think? What an arse!!!

The fact that he still blames the Falcons and says they need to get their shite together next year is what gets me.

So basically after doing what he did and now knowing his wife is pissed and his kids are scared, he's still going to mention next year.

Matty Ice is one of the "mentally toughest players in the league"

So even if they lost to the Seahawks it wouldnt have got him down.

Of course he Iced the Seahawks in the end. And would have did the 49ers as well if he didnt hurt his shoulder.

Falcons fans usually have a "larger perspective on life" than most fans. Obviously dude got caught up in the moment. Super Bowl appearance (maybe win) slipped through our hands.

People here have good perspective. However, (I'm just going off who I've come across)

Nothing is worse than a Saints fan......../ Bama fan.

No offense to the Saints/Bama fans here. But those people are ridiculous. LSU/Saints fans are alright....but Bama/Saints fans take things to a whole another level. Rude, jerks, act like they own know every fricking thing, etc. etc.

What does any of that nonsense have to do with what that jackass did and how it affected his family?
