We were not going to stop them from getting into FG range. It was just one of those games you could see what the outcome was going to be. If you’ve watched the Saints enough, this is the norm

We could have run the ball three times and made them take their timeouts or leave them just a few seconds. But we crapped the bed on playcalling and Grupe crapped the bed on his one job.

if all things were equal maybe, but 3 deep throws is all you need when at least 2 of those will get a PI and they are in field goal range.

The frick it is. It is 98% Grupe. A backup qB puts you into a sub50 yard field goal to likely win - you HAVE to make that in this league. Give me a break.

He threw the ball into the stands in a must-get scenario and also failed to run for a first when it was wide open.
