Very, VERY unusual to measure after a penalty

That happened after an offsides penalty against the Cowboys on a Saints 3rd & 5 play where Anderson immediately said the penalty would be short of the line to gain... they then measured (I'm sure CSP asked for the measurement)

@footballzebras how will this crew get penalized for missing the blatant helmet to helmet hit?

Football Zebras @footballzebras
It will be on the officiating training tape next week, and the covering officials will be downgraded

I hate to judge a crew on a primetime game that just has more scrutiny than 1 of 9 games on Sunday. But, unfortunately, it was obviously a substandard game from the crew, which has had some high profile misses already this season

He did grab his arm which was hard to see but if they can see that how do they miss the helmet to helmet on kamara

I don't see what else Lattimore could've done at the end not to get that called for PI

It was definitely a horribly officiated game. But it went both ways (probably slightly less in our favor), like that blatantly missed huge facemask on Dak.

And we didn't lose because of the officiating. We lost because our offense was garbage.

Line got obliterated and the receivers were covered.

Dropped passes did not help.

Worst NFL refs I've seen since Seattle got the screw job against Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl

I can forgive all the penalties except the Pass Interference that decides the game considering what the Cowboys were doing to Thomas and the helmet to helmet on Kamara by Smith.

Those two penalties are horrible and the helmet to helmet miss should have the closest ref disallowed to do the playoffs.

at least it was nice to see our defense wasn't the one who cost us the game. Just imagine how great our D could be had we traded up for Vander Esche instead of Davenport

it's a shame that not getting that FG in the first half is what kept that game from being tied and going to OT

That's all fine and dandy and people can keep saying that officiating was bad both ways, but that facemask doesn't even happen if they had properly spotted Beasly down. He was a good 1.5 yards short.

I mean, I agree. The officiating was bad, and there were more bad calls our way than theirs. But let's not try and make excuses for the team and act like we lost because of that. We did not. If the offense plays even half as good as they have been this season we win this game by a TD minimum

even Keith Kirkwood's TD could've been called for offensive PI

Dude, davis is playing lights out. The defense is good enough to win it all. The offense shite the bed last night.

On the bright side, there isnt a group on this team im more confindent in to get it corrected.

We got a wake up call.

They didn't play hard last night and we were missing that edge that Dallas bought
