We know Victory's take on Carr, he makes it known too often IMO.

Fair enough.

I’ll let you guys have your Carr party until the season starts. You won’t see me in any Carr-specific threads until then.

Btw, I'm not against you expressing your thought, it's just been the same over and over and over again. We get it.

ST is a fairly negative space in general, SFP is still calculating our cap space as I type.

Hence the qualifier “right now.”

I know, English comprehension and understanding is hard, lil guy.

Jones has never been, and is not now, better than Carr. You’re talking about a guy who had 2,800 total yards and 12 total TDs in 2021.

He had one decent season where he put up marginally better numbers, depending on what you decide to cherry pick. That doesn’t make him a better QB.

There’s a distinction better “better QB” and “better season” that you clearly don’t understand.

I don’t have a problem with the rest that were listed. It’s a crapshoot between 7 guys for the 9-15 spots. Daniel Jones isn’t in that group.

2021 isn't right now. You forgot to mention that he was working with a bottom 3 receiving group and an injured Saquon Barkley that year as well.

So he had a better season than Carr with low turnovers, carrying that bottom 3 receiving group, and performed out of his mind and won a road game in the playoffs. But he's not better than Carr right now after Carr was benched for Jarrett Stidham and was utter dogshit his last 4 games in LV with a completion percentage hovering just above 50% (had 8 total ~50% completion games last year as a matter of fact)?

Based on last year, he is a better QB than Derek Carr RIGHT NOW.

Here's a link to help you better understand:

Again, you don’t seem to understand the difference between “better QB” and “better season”.

You do know rankings adjust from season to season based in large part on...last season, right?

You mean like the ones that this thread is based on? The ones that have Carr ahead of Jones?

Interesting.

Interesting indeed but that’s not what we’re discussing. I claimed that I had Carr 17th on the list (another thing about rankings, they’re subjective).

I said Derek Carr is not better than Daniel Jones right now. You said Carr’s history is better which is true. However, last season he was not better in any way - with tons more offensive talent to work with - than Daniel Jones. There is nothing that Derek Carr did better than Daniel Jones last year in the grand scheme of things. Hence, he was benched after a shitty 4 game run to end the season with super bad play coming from Carr in particular. This isn’t hard, but nuance isn’t your strong suit.

ETA: But hey, like I said, I’ll let you guys have your Carr circle jerk and deuce out, just be prepared to eat that limp biscuit in a few months.

It’s a top 10 list

They are literally saying Carr is better than Jones by being in the discussion. Just move on dude.

Carr had his worst season ever and still had 9 more passing TDs and 2 more total TDs.

Jackson is a broken toy. You can't put someone in the top ten when they can't stay on the field.

The only questionable one in the top 10 is Trevor Lawrence.
