LSU had the best offense in CFB history. They drug nuts on everyone. Chase arguably had the best season of any WR in CFB history.

60 snaps against the best team in CFB history is merely a fraction of the game tape on either guy

That’s not how you evaluate players. It’s just not

So what are you judging him off of?

Going up against those stud WRs from duke and New Mexico State? Or tenneseee and western carolina? Southern Miss?

I don’t trust your judgement of talent at all you’re the same dude that said trey Quinn was a better wr than DJ Chark

You judge them off their physical capabilities, their whole body of work, how they fit in your system, how much room from improvement with professional coaching

Guarding the WR3 for Carolina for a year or two before becoming a starter won’t be the same as guarding the best WR on the best offense in college football. It’s applicable, sure. But there’s way more to it.

LSU once shut Lamar Jackson down in a bowl game & he just won mvp. Imagine not drafting him because of that

There’s so many more examples just like that

I mean, majority of the posters here are total drooling rubes so we'll see how it works out.

I said week 2 of the season that Queen was LSU’s best LB but thanks for playing

You were asking for CEH to be benched at that time, I haven’t forgot.

You’ve been hilariously bad at things like this Lester

People just have to find something to bitch about. If we had signed Robby Anderson (which would have cost more) people would be bitching about how skinny he is or how he could be one of those players that messes up the locker room.

Emmanuel Sanders isn’t in his prime but he’s certainly not in decline yet as we saw last year. The dude was legit and even Lattimore had a tough time staying with him. If he can play like that this year then it’s worth it. Who cares what he does in the second year of the deal. We got him for this last ride

You laughed at me when I told you in August that Queen was as good as Debo & Kwon. Now he’s going to get drafted before both of them did

I can post it or you can keep lying as usual

You also laughed when I said this is the best LB Corp LSU has had. Two guys will go in the first, Phillips mid round, which has never happened before at LSU. Lol at me I guess

I know people love the Sanders signing but man is it huge.

We have been missing this element in the passing game for too long

Emmanuel Sanders made an impression during his short time with the 49ers
Posted by NBCsports on March 24, 2020, 1:06 PM EDT NBCsports
quote:

The 49ers gave up a third- and fourth-round pick to land receiver Emmanuel Sanders. They had him for only 10 regular-season games and three playoff games. But that was enough to make an impact on the rest of the team’s receivers.

quote:

“He’s a living testament to what we want to be,” receiver Kendrick Bourne told Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area. “Everything he does, how he acts off the field, you know it’s the proper way to do it because he’s been doing it for 11 years now. So there’s no doubt that it works.”

quote:

As noted by Maiocco, players like Bourne, Deebo Samuel, Richie James, and Dante Pettis received a boost from Sanders’ presence for more than three months.

quote:

“He was always trying to teach us, me, Deebo and Dante and us, ‘Do this,'” Bourne said. “‘This is the better way,’ rather than keeping it to himself.

quote:

“He’s benefiting all of us being in the room because he’s vocal,” Bourne added. “He’s a real leader, a physical leader. He does what he’s supposed to do in all aspects. That’s how you know why he’s played this long, and why he will play another three more years.”

quote:

This year, Sanders will play Bourne and the 49ers, when San Francisco visits New Orleans. Bourne clearly intends to show up for that game and all others with a higher level of fitness, as inspired by Sanders.

quote:

“The biggest thing with Emmanuel for me was just his conditioning and how long he can stay in the game,” Bourne said. “It was really impressive to me because I know if I’m in for like four plays, I’ll be like huffing and puffing a little bit. . . . Emmanuel didn’t have a governor. He could be out there seven plays in a row. I’ve been focusing this offseason to where when I hit that wall, but I still got two more plays left in me.”

quote:

Thus, although the 49ers won’t see a compensatory draft pick for Sanders until next year, there’s a lingering influence from Sanders that will help them get more out of the guys who remain with the team.

Right when I saw the Saints offer, I talked to Sean Payton and told him I wanted to be a Saint,” Sanders said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “We made it happen. I was just ecstatic. I didn’t care to answer more calls from anybody.

Emmanuel Sanders didn’t want to hear from other teams after Saints offered deal

Posted by Josh Alper on March 25, 2020, 1:50 PM EDT NBCsports
quote:

Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said in the early days of free agency that he didn’t want to rush the process because he hoped to find the “right fit” with his new team.

quote:

Things sped up once Sanders got a call from the Saints, however. Sanders said that there were conversations with other teams, including the Cowboys, going on, but he put them all to an end once the Saints made an offer last week.

quote:

“Right when I saw the Saints offer, I talked to Sean Payton and told him I wanted to be a Saint,” Sanders said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “We made it happen. I was just ecstatic. I didn’t care to answer more calls from anybody.”

quote:

Sanders said he hasn’t had any discussions with Payton about his role in the Saints offense, but he seems likely to be the No. 2 receiver alongside Michael Thomas. Given the attention defenses have to pay Thomas, that should offer Sanders some good opportunities to make plays.
