FanDuel has saints -1.5. If you’re seeing Eagles -1 you should be taking that for the sheer value.

The key will be to jump on them early. If we can take a 14-17 point lead into halftime, we will force them to make Hurts try and beat us with his arm, which he can't. The Eagles have a good rushing attack and can win ugly games if close, but not if they have to throw the ball.

Really thought the Eagles looked pretty mediocre last night.

It feels like they have been loosing ugly games close since week 10 last year. Including the one last night. If they don't have AJ Brown they aren't the same offense. The RPOs don't work like they did since the league cracked down on ILD penalties. Hurts is a single read QB. If you load the box with blitzes and take away Smith (with Brown out), they aren't very good offensively.

Hurts is about to get rekt

I hope so, but we've played Hurts twice and the Eagles run game smashed us both times. In 2020 the Saints had gone 3 years without giving up a 100 yard rusher and then the Eagles had two in one game (Hurts and Miles Sanders). Hopefully the run D is dialed in on Sunday.

TB is the biggest game of the 4. KC game is almost unimportant.

It'll be nice to see where we stack up against a genuine Super Bowl contender, but if we have to choose a game to drop out of the next 4 the Chiefs would be it. I remember in 2009 when the Saints played the Patriots on MNF the media kept calling it the most important game in Saints history, which was stupid because A) the Saints had played in the NFCC just a few years before, and B) it was literally the least important game left on the schedule at that point due to the tiebreaker scenarios we had with Minnesota.

Agreed, especially if they can win the next 2.

If we’re 4-1 or better and the Bucs are 4-1 or better (probably will be) then it will be a huge game.
