Each day closer to March 14th do you get a little more nervous?

I don't really think about it too often tbh but i hope we get him done quickly.

I always expect these things to happen at the very last possible second, but yeah. At least we have that 3/14 deadline, which is a lot earlier than these things usually happen.

There's no way Drew would go on national t.v. and say he was "a saint for life" if he didn't know that a deal was at least close to getting done.

Perhaps they talk to FA's and get a feel on how they need the contact structured with Drew and the additional FA's to fit with the cap?

The contact period for free agents is March 12-14 so it would lineup with a last minute Brees contract.

We have gone through enough Drew Brees contracts to know that you wont here anything until the week of the deadline.

Anyone find it interesting that the season ticket invoice has a first payment due date literally just after the 3/14 deadline??? Just sayin
