That's how I felt when I remembered what he said.

I just watched it back, and he said MCL not ACL.

when I re-read that-
“Everyone knew he had some type of injury going on, but it was probably an MCL injury that no one else would have dared to play with, and he didn’t miss a beat,’’ Evans said. “He was out there warring through for his teammates, the betterment of our team. “Lord knows we’re nowhere near as good without [No.] 9 suited up for us. So I think the majority of some of those interceptions came during that span when he was really fighting through injuries that a lesser man would have shut it down and said, ‘Forget the team, I’m worried about me and I don’t want to get myself hurt worse.’
“He said, ‘No, I’m not going to miss a practice snap, much less a game snap.’ I thought that those interceptions, at least some of them, came from throwing off one leg for six weeks.’’
-I couldn't help but think of Cutler yesterday. It might have all ended up legit but it's hard to imagine Breesus letting anyone keep him out of the game in that scenario.

Jay Cutler has a MCL tear in his left knee, according to beat writer Sean Jensen.
The Bears are apparently still determining the grade of his tear. MCL injuries are not nearly as severe as ACL tears, but can still limit mobility and a quarterback's ability to plant his foot. Still, if the injury does not require surgery, Cutler is going to be even more vilified than he already is. Cutler will be hard-pressed to escape a suddenly "soft" reputation.

Hmmm? could this be a cover up for him being a pussy!?lol

How is that even possible?
Brees is unbelievable.
Cutler should have been out there on crutches. Sorry, but if you can ride the bike and stand on the sidelines, you get out there and lead your team.

If you're ever in the same room with Brian Urlacher, be sure to express the same sentiments to him.

2011 Madden Curse legit...
Aaron Rodgers gets injured in 2nd to last preseason game and lost for at least a month.
Matt Flynn starts in Green Bay's Thursday Night Season Opener against the previous SB champ Saints.

meh, LBer is a tough arse position. you can't be effective with a major knee injury there. On a torn MCL you can still move, it would just hurt to plant the foot. It would cause his passes to sail on him a little...but he does that on a regular basis anyway.

I respect the hell out of Brees and his toughness, I just hope that this doesn't cause problems for him down the road and ultimately shorten his career by a season or two.

Ok He just brought it up again and he said MCL that time. So I guess he said ACL on accident so I changed the title to MCL.

What's he gonna do, kick his arse?
I'd welcome Urlacher putting his hands on me. I'd make sure my lawyer was there to film it too.
