Yeah it would make very little sense for the jets to accumulate all those pics ahead of this draft and next years mega draft and then reach like crazy for a guy when there are elite players on the board.

I think they have their eye on a much bigger fish at qb than Ty Simpson and aren’t afraid to tank to get there.

The crazy thing is that Minnesota had a healthy Cousins who had found his groove, and had just won a ton of games. I understand reaching on an iffy QB if you're Miami or Carolina, but the Vikings were good.

I could see Arizona trying to trade back into the first round to get Simpson. Rams as well.

Agreed. I mean they need qbs and Simpson is pretty much the consensus #2. These qb desperate teams sometimes do some weird stuff. Saints would be sitting so pretty at 8 if a second qb went top 6. Two o lineman like a previous poster said would also do the trick. I think it’s a strong possibility that the Browns go o lineman.
