He’s a freak, it doesn’t make any logical sense for someone that size to be that athletic

We don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell at him falling to us now

Reese just ran a 4.47 on his second try.

He was one of my top guys in the draft but man, he may be the best player in this draft. He even looks bigger than Reese.

I hope not, taking an off ball linebacker with the 8th pick would be a horrible decision. If Downs or Reese are there at 8 I’d consider it, but other than that go get an offensive playmaker.

one player that maybe the Saints could look at during free agency is David Edwards from the Bills.

Guard.

I would feel better if they went that route if I'm being honest. Instead of drafting one. The Rutledge kid out of Georgia Tech killed it at the Senior Bowl and usually that's a week where the defensive guys win most of the time.

I think since the Saints could have something with Shough they'll be aggressive but how aggressive is the real question. We've got a nice haul of picks so no need to go too over the top.

What? What offensive playmaker do you think they should take at 8?

Love, Tyson, Lemon, or Tate

every once in awhile you just take the best player on the board. Teams don't do that every single time. They go for a need over the best available.

But I think after today Styles isn't even going to be available.

He absolutely would be worth the #8 pick. He's got so much to offer.

but he's likely off the board anyway since he tested like an absolute freak.

I would expect him at 8. Who's spot is he taking?

Mendoza
Reese
Bailey
Styles

That’s 4 guys that will likely be gone. Bain is a wildcard. We need the OTs to kill it at the combine. Mauigoa and Fano could sneak in. Tate might also be gone.

So no off ball linebacker but a running back? According to your logic that’s comical. Tate nor Tyson are that good to not draft him.

Well, if DeMario leaves there is a spot.

And you definitely play him over Werner or Stutsman.

And you would think Stutsman gets worked in more and has a chance to compete. You just used a 3rd rounder on him last year for what? To play every other series and special teams only?

Tyson would be if it wasn’t for the injury history. The guy can play and has WR1 written all over him.

But he’s not. I like Tyson but that is an absolute no there.

Exactly. He’s gone in the top 5 at this point.

I still have a hunch John Harbaugh might target Caleb Downs.

He had the privilege of inheriting Ed Reed and also years later took Kyle Hamilton at #14.

Maybe that's a reach #5 for a safety but it wouldn't shock me. Giants DB's are arse anyway. I mean currently.
