I don't want to talk about 2014.

Gave us Ramcyzk and Hendrickson or Anzalone (whatever pick we got from NE).

So 2014 wasn't a total bust.

If we nail the draft again next year we could be locked and loaded for a LONG time. Drew may play until he's 42-43

If we can draft as well or better next year it's highly likely we will draft Drew's replacement

And I don’t know that everyone knew who Elvis was.

If you don’t know who Elvis was, you live in a tiny tiny bubble. I don’t care how old you are.

Yep. I can understand maybe not knowing who Fats is just by name, I'm sure most could recognize at least one of his songs though not knowing who he was, but Elvis???

It will be very difficult to replace either Coach Payton or Drew Brees so I vote to hold on to both as long as we can.

I guess, if you want to spin it that way, however, there are 4 other guys from that draft that aren't in the league just 3 years later.

Oh yeah the rest was a bust but Cooks was/is really good and got us a starting tackle and rotational DE/DT. Can't discount that. You take the good with the bad and the bad with the good. Works both ways. /insert some other corny saying.

Why bother linking when you post the entire article?

Some drafts are just more loaded and we're lucky this past draft had that much even deep info the 3rd.

Looking at the 2018 draft, it looks not as deep and more like the 2016 draft where it's very top heavy. I honestly expect the Saints to take a 16 approach and move up as often as possible after round 1
