DA is a good defensive coach and could run a successful team and successful D with a strong OC. Carmichael just isn't the strong leader that the position required

The real issue of concern is Loomis and his inability to GM, build, and draft due to:

1. Looking for the next diamond in the rough

2. Always getting tunnel vision with specific players in the draft that results in less quality draft picks and requiring us to get older free agents

DA is not a great coach, but he is probably good enough. Is there better out there? Definitely. Should we settle? Probably not but consistency is a good thing... the problem is the lack of respect due to DA's own missteps with relationship management.

DA is probably a good enough coach with the right OC, but he has put himself in a bad hole relationally with the team. Loomis is done. If I was running the show, I'd be shipping them both out and moving on, but I can see what they see in DA as well

I downvoted. Mostly because wishing for stuff is useless and wishing for the opposite of what could happen is retarded.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news: But this exercise you described as "retarded" is exactly what being a fan is, and definitely what a fan who posts on message boards is haha

An undeniable fact

But let's not forget the names Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, and Bill Belichick. Am I right guys!? (Insert gum smacking)

Hate to put it like this but it’s true, we have a female owner, Mickey isn’t going anywhere. He’s already won the trust of her, it’s over until he calls it quits. How often in a relationship have you seen the woman end it before the man?

OP agrees with loomis of keeping Dennis Allen. Yet thinks he’s still the problem. Blames all of Ireland’s draft picks on Loomis and doesn’t mention the guy behind the drafts.

What do you reckon he meant when he said he was going to make things uncomfortable the other day when he was chewing gum up there?
