NEW ORLEANS — Eyewitness Sports' Doug Mouton says the Saints schedule is out from a 'reliable source.' Here it is.

Week 1 - HOUSTON Monday Night, Sept. 9
Week 2 - @ Rams
Week 3 - @ Seattle
Week 4 - DALLAS
Week 5 - TAMPA BAY
Week 6 - @ Jacksonville
Week 7 - @ Chicago
Week 8 - ARIZONA
Week 9 - BYE
Week 10 - ATLANTA
Week 11 - @Tampa Bay
Week 12 - CAROLINA
Week 13 - @Atlanta Thanksgiving, Nov. 28
Week 14 - SAN FRANCISCO

1-4 is brutal. Other than that I don’t see many hiccups. I’d rather get that part of scheduled out the way unlike previous years where we had that mid season after bye.

Agreed. This is the first time in a few years that the back half of the schedule looks a lot better than the first half

I’d be happy with a split first 4 then see where the season takes us. Of course I’d rather run the table but that won’t happen this year.

Positives

-Start the season off in the Dome. Hopefully we actually get off to a fast start and win the 1'st game of the year. It seems like it's been awhile since we've done that.

-Bye right in the middle of the schedule.

-No frigid games in November/December...TN/Carolina might be at that time of the year.

Negatives


Week 2 - @ Rams
Week 3 - @ Seattle
Week 4 - DALLAS ....is murderers row.
