I'd be ok with him in the third round. But anything other than defense or offensive line in the first two rounds would be a failure

Neither.

We need G's and a C in rounds 2-5
You want an offensive line that starts 3 rookies?

Not what I said, but it would still be an upgrade of what we had this past season in the middle:

1) it would be near impossible for a rookie to step in and pass block worse than Evans or Goodwin this last year

2) we need depth in the middle

3) we save a lot of cap space by letting at least 1 guard go

4) guard is one of the easiest transitions in the NFL

So yea, I'd rather start 3 rookies than keep Evans and Grubbs at their current salary and Goodwin at any salary.

I think we need one more weapon for sure. I'd be all for taking him or duke. I would also be fine with taking all o linemen. Brees needs help in both areas if we expect eat him to succeed. We're very thin in terms of weapons and linemen to be honest. I really hope we don't waste more early round picks on defense.

I think this too. I think we need another guy. Stills just isn't consistent and neither is Cooks. Nobody respects Meachem anymore and Colston is well...Colston. He's big as frick but has the mileage of a 60 year old.

Jimmy is really our only threat and he went MIA in most games last year. We need a bigger, faster type receiver. Now I don't think it will be DGB because of his issues, but we do need someone else.

We have several other draft needs. Look for us to fill the WR role in FA.

Dez
Julio
Josh Gordon
Alshon

Type receiver is what we need. Big guy who can get deep, catch screens, fades whatever. We just need a big fast physical well rounded receiver. Not a statue

A big guy that Brees can "throw open"... like Colston used to be, or Henderson back in the day who would just run under shite.

I'd much rather fill the defensive needs with solid if unspectacular fa's and try to build offense through the draft. I trust his organization to find o lineman and pass catching targets more than I do edge rushers and cbs

Doubt he slips out the first, but hell yes if he is there for our 2nd.
