Lattimore was out. He is the heart and soul of this team.

He is just as important as Drew is to this year's team.

No Lattimore the rest of the year means you're finishing 10-6 (wins against NYJ and TB seem reasonable).

bullshite. Defense held a team, at home, that was scoring 30+ points a game, to 26. Offense didn't show up. They didn't run the ball. This loss is on Payton. Thats why I am disappointed.

I'm not freaking out, but we need the corners back ASAP. Besides putting Harris and Williams on the field as starters, it keeps vaccaro out of position. Has the entire secondary thrown off. That's the only worry for me.

I give ST more credit than the WWL postgame show.

I'm disappointed but whatever.

We are now 0-2 head to head vs. the other 3 teams vying for top playoff seeding. And the Eagles need to go 3-2 or worse for us to catch them.

The road to the Super Bowl is almost guaranteed not to go through the Superdome now.

They still control their own playoff destiny, but this should have been a win, even without Latt and Crawley.

Because while the defense played like shite without Lattimore they still did enough to have a chance to win.

The offense totally shite the bed

My only concern is this is two weeks in a row of a somewhat inept offensive showing. They caught fire at the end of the Redskins game, but wasn't so lucky this week.

Don't you ever insult Bobby. He's a national treasure.

Mostly frustration. The defense, sorry as they were, gave the offense enough chances to win. The offense couldn't do "diddly poo" with the damn ball outside of Kamara, who was inexplicably off the field for a critical portion of the third quarter. Then Payton's decision to kick a field goal down 13 with a gassed defense, and under 11 to go in the game.

Everything is still in front of us if we handle business from here on out.

Totally agree. His decisions baffled me and his approach to the game was weirdly erratic.

All I heard going in was how the Rams struggle against the run, and we come out the first drive all passes, drew getting clobbered on two of the plays. Had a feeling it would be one of those days.

He's always been good for 2 or 3 of those WTF games a year. Hopefully it's out of his system now.

Well, the 5th play was a 74 yard TD run. And then that same guy averaged a run a quarter. That makes no sense to me.

Not freaking out but definitely disappointed. Defense played well enough in the 3rd to easily get us ahead in the game but the offense went totally cold again and couldn't get the run game going besides that long run from Kamara. In a game where you're missing some of your most important defensive players the offense has to get the ball rolling and control the clock which we couldn't do. But hey not a divisional game, sky isn't falling, and have a big bounce back game this week against Carolina so on to the next.

Just cause they lost doesn’t mean the game wasn’t there for the taking. We slept walked thru the day & in the end it was still close. It’s not anything to freak out about but it’s disappointing

Payton outcoached himself. He got cute. Thinks the Rams are defending run, so I'll pass. Stupid. You have a great OLine, two of the hottest RBs in the league and you get Drew clobbered because the WRs aren't separating. Should have run more early. Horrible game plan.

I love the kid but this is just not true. He is an elite talent yes, but he is still a rookie. Cam Jordan is much more valuable to the defense than Lattimore and that is taking zero away from Lattimore. Alos not saying he isn't very very important but I wouldn't call him the "heart and soul" of the team.

I am not freaking out about the loss but the defense played well enough to win. They held the rams to below their scoring average, the offense didn't show up. It happens at least once or twice a year. No biggie, they will bounce back against the Panthers who got torched by Josh McCown yesterday. Drew will throw for 350 and 4 TD.
